Do you know what an imagrant is? WEll if you don’t here is what it means it is a peason from another country that moves to america. It is in a  way easyer to move now than right before world war one. So we had to travel in the eyes of our ansesters.  I had a bother and my houseband that traveled with me. My house bad got deported twice becauseof a gaint wart on his arm. My brother got deported twice because of a foot problum.(   the things these people come up with) I was an only woman traveling alone!!!!    We got cheeck for illness. Ant  my family came back and got in!! Oh the joy… so that was  our imgation day!

Finally, we hve our spring break. I thought it would never come! Even though it is only a week we get our  break only one more break and te i am in middle school! I have been at this school  all my life! I want to grow up and go to middle school but i don’t want to leave everything behide. Pleasetell me what you think and leave a coment.

NALB. NALB stands for no animal left behind. IF you cheek my blog often you might see that i have added some (alot) of animals. Let me tell you what they stand for… THe feret is for my friend haily and marrane haily loves feretsso muchif she chould she’d be on! And maryane has 2 ferets and one is named feppy so… The next  one was a fish, now i love fish (not to eat fish are friends not food!) so i thought it would be very cool… The dog stands for  my dogs they love to cuddle so that’s were i got that name!… the pig  is to show my messy side you might think i am all prime an proper and very clean but let me tell you this you are wrong!!!!!!!!!…The fox is  for my dad he has had some  really bad things happen to him! Like when I as 5 he got burned(3th degree).  Not only that but later he needed knee surgery. So just like a fox after a bad hunting season… my dad keeps going… the sheep well… it was just  kinda cute…The chick is for my new born cousin. Just like a chick she is a new born… The horse is for my friend Oana (wan-a) she is really good at drawing horse’s and not just that but she loves them!… The bat is for the side of me that loves to sleep in scents but sleep all day i tought that was  right!!…The panda bear is for my old old old babysiter amanda she colected them… The turtle is for  my mom she wishes she could be a sea turtle… The monkey  is for me sence people are  always calling me monkey girl… the cat is for my x-bestfrind  promise (thats her name) she had 8 cats!!!… The hedghog was cute so, yeah… thee wolf was for my friend chris he loves wolfs they are his faiorite animal… the penguin is to show thati love to play on this website called club penguin… the bunnys is for easter thesoon coming hoilday… the lama is for this song i mad “i was in the bahama’s, with lamas, in  pajamas” …  the spider i to show i am not afraid of a little bug… and finally  the duck is  for the water i love to be in water… ok, after thisi  promise to  stpo talking… i changed their colors to show that no duck is like the next duck…no wolf is like the next wolf… so forth and so on……

  In math you learn many skills. But in my math group you need lots of math skills! I am in fith grade and my math teacher gave us three pages of algebra! This week we also learned how to add, subtract, muiltiply, and divide fractions and mixed numbers. It’s so easy! Math has always been my favorite subject but this is really testing me. My math teacher is really in to challages but that doesn’t mean i have to be right? So i am stuck with a lot of math. It’s ok because my math teacher said that if I keep up the good work i might be able to be in 7th grade math next year!

This  week we have been learning how to create science board. Our teacher gave us a big cardboard thing. We can decorate it however we want to ( but no paint). Our group studied which type of paint dries fastest. We chose wall paint, water colors, and acrylic paints. We learned that water colors dried the fastest and wall paint dried the slowest.

Finally the dreaded ISAT‘s are over! ISAT stands for Illinois standard achievement test. One week out of the school year all us kids slave over a test booklet an answer document and a number two pencil! The 5th graders takes math reading and a writing test. 4th graders take math reading and two since tests. But no matter what grade we are in we are all glad the dreaded test are over!
